Overwatch Free Weekend Is Coming
Like many other big-shot studios in the gaming industries, Blizzard Entertainment has also realizes the necessity to explore the fever of free weekend and they are throwing us a free weekend for Overwatch. Yes, you can now enjoy this team-based multiplayer online first-person shooter from Blizzard for free later this month in a free weekend from the developers.
All you need to enter the world of Overwatch is a PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One on the free weekend. Players will find a trial version to download on their respective console systems. Also, you will be needing either the PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscriptions to play on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Those who wishes to play the game on PC on free weekend will need to download the Blizzard's Battle.net app from battle.net

Under this free weekend initiative, you will be allowed to test out all 26 playable characters of Overwatch, as well as explore the 16 existing maps. Arcade, Custom Games, Loot Boxes and Quick Play are all open to take part in. Competitive games however, are off limits for now. Finally, all the progress you have made during the free weekend period will be carried over to the main game if you choose to purchase the game in the end.

Overwatch’s free weekend will officially start on Friday, November 17 at 11 a.m. PT and will end Monday, November 20 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
