PlayStation Plus Free Games For August 2017
All the PlayStation Plus subscribers are going to have a blast this upcoming August 2017 as Sony has an exquisite offer for them that they cannot refuse. They have just released the PlayStation Plus free games update for the month of August and the list reeks the scent of revolution all over it. You can still have the free games for July 2017, till the month expires as well.
Before we get to it, take a quick glance at the August 2017 lineup for free games on PlayStation Plus.
PlayStation Plus members can now get the party game That’s You! for free and the offer is valid till October 2017. You can take five of your friends or family members to find out what you actually think of each other throughout the game. It's really fun and you can join in anytime from your TV, PlayStation 4 and Android/iOS phone or tablet.
But the biggest surprise among these all free games is Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry and Just Cause 3. The latest of the Just Cause series is here that lets you play as rebel Rico Rodriguez, who will be fighting tyranny with cunningness and explosions. Next up, Freedom Cry is based on the follow-up events of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, where you take the role of Adewale to guide him to a personal journey to help the exploited.
Those are the only free games we have talked about but there's still more. If you are a PlayStation Plus member then the hottest blockbuster movies of this summer are waiting just for you. You can now enjoy The Lego Batman Movie, Logan, Power Rangers, Kong: Skull Island, The Boss Baby and Ghost in the Shell; each on a week for six weeks on 99¢. Get your PlayStation Video app on the Android or iOS devices and enjoy them each week. Even if you miss them by any chance, you will still have them in My Videos for 30 days.
If you think, you have had enough for now, then there's still something that might interest you. Another game that will free to play for the fortunate PlayStation Plus subscribers is Doom for this weekend, which is until Monday evening, July 31. Recently, the Doom Update 6.66 was released with all the bug-fixes and three multiplayer DLC. Those who already have Doom, got this earlier in July 2017 though.
