Assassin's Creed Anime Announced
The producer and the mastermind behind the most recent animated Castlevania TV Series on Netflix, Adi Shankar, have recently announced his upcoming project that he took. He declares that fans should be anticipating an anime adaption of the ever popular Assassin’s Creed. Though there was no confirmation of any sort from Ubisoft officials, much of the news had come from one of Adi Shankar’s recent post on Facebook, where he briefly told us about his new project.
According to the post, Shankar is quite happy to announce that his new project, Assassin’s Creed anime series. He continues by telling us how he thought it would be almost impossible or perhaps unimaginable that he could take the world of Assassin's Creed to another level. Shankar emphasizes on following your passion regardless of what others' says.
While this is an important step in moving Ubisoft's popular franchise to another level, it is clear that this is not the first time that the series has tried to transcend its video game world. Many people believed the film didn’t really do well yet it projected the fact that the series had potentials of working outside the video game and perhaps Adi Shankar should consider this in the new anime series. The series is included in Ubisoft Motion Pictures slate alongside a Splinter Cell movie adaptation starring Tom Hardy and Jake Gyllenhaal starrer The Division movie.
Shankar is quite famous for his many notable works as executive producer in Dredd, Lone Survivor etc. Apart from that, he is a content creator, a notable gamer and a staunch fan of the Assassin’s Creed. Although he never disclosed anything, not a single character, settings or even a release date apart from the fact that he has been asked to create an original story by Ubisoft. Fans still expect a huge surprise from his involvement to the project.
