Death Stranding Teaser
Previously, Hideo Kojima dropped the bomb on the eager fans on E3 2016 by releasing the reveal trailer for his next project Death Stranding but honestly, many who have seen the trailer is still gazed and confused about what to make of it yet. He returns to take the stage at The Game Awards to show us something weird once again. Yup, he did it again. He just dropped another cryptic trailer for Death Stranding that will left people in chock and awe.

Kojima Productions have already bagged actor Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead) for Death Stranding. Now, involvement of Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Pacific Rim) and Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) as two other important character has been revealed through the teaser as well.
Below is the recently released teaser that Kojima have unleashed at The Game Awards 2016 and it surely adds more with the already piled bank of mystery.
We see Guillermo del Toro's character is running through a lot of dead sea life towards a bridge dressed like some sort of official while fighter planes fly over. He has a neurosurgical scar on his forehead and is holding a pod of some sort as he looks frightened looking at those planes. One of the planes flew his way as he headed towards the bridge. Form under the bridge, he sees a convoy of soldiers marching forward who definitely appears odd and they have a tank that has tentacles coming out of it.
Just as they passed by, black gooey liquid drips over the bridge which goes unnoticed by the guy and he activates the pod. We see a baby inside who opens the right eye. Inside the tunnel under the bridge, five skeletal soldiers comes out of dark and we see them all linked with cords to their leader; Mads Mikkelsen's character. By the looks of their attitude, it's fairly evident that they are after the baby and their leader gives a pretty devilish smile.
Right after revealing the clip, Industry Icon Award winner Hideo Kojima twitted two brand-new posters of the game featuring both Guillermo del Toro and Mads Mikkelsen's character.
So far, the reveal trailer has hinted us that something extraterrestrial is at work here and now this. Looks like advanced science have collided with magic or something very mystical. Since, Kojima shares his likeness for mysterious stuff just as much as his collaborator Del Toro and Mads Mikkelsen is in fact one of his most favorite actors, this one is surely going to turn out to be a homerun situation.
