A rumor regarding classic PlayStation 2-era trilogy of Grand Theft Auto games was confirmed by developer/publisher Rockstar Games earlier last month for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Now that GTA Trilogy is launching this week, reports for upcoming remastered version of Red Dead Redemption is already out there. Another claim from an industry insider says, Grand Theft Auto IV will be next remaster from Rockstar.
A known Call of Duty leaker RalphsValve recently claimed on social media that Rockstar Games is planning to launch Grand Theft Auto 4 Remaster at some point in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
This rumored remastered version of GTA 4 comes bundled with Episodes from Liberty City that includes The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC expansion packs but won't add online multiplayer component on re-release.

Until there is an official confirmation, fans are advised to take these reports with a grain of salt. However, given how Rockstar re-packages their old games over and over again, idea of a Grand Theft Auto 4 remaster doesn't seem unlikely.
Since development for highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed several times, Rockstar Games can buy some time by re-releasing Grand Theft Auto IV for modern consoles to let fans rediscover the stories of Liberty City.
