The new DMC5 trailer from Tokyo Game Show 2018 brings back the legendary demon hunter in his iconic style.
The newest release from developer/publisher Capcom's celebrated Devil May Cry franchise and upcoming action-adventure hack and slash game Devil May Cry 5 was revealed to the world during the E3 2018 press conference.
We saw a new trailer at Gamescom 2018 that showcased pivotal gameplay footage and announced March 8, 2019 to be the release date for it to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Today at Tokyo Game Show 2018, another trailer dropped with new details.

The newly released TGS 2018 trailer for DMC5 heavily focuses on series protagonist Dante and captures his characteristic devil may care attitude.

Although Dante was featured in previous videos of DMC5, he was mostly overshadowed by Nero. However, the paranomal investigator is back again as he has taken a new job that requires his unique skill of hacking and slashing demon hordes.
His regular arsenal of weapons including the sword Rebellion with and handgun pair Ebony and Ivory gets a new companion; a stylish motorcycle that he either rides into battle or splits into two to slash through a mob of evil spirits if he needs to.

In the last trailer, we got a few scenes of action where we witnessed the destructive capabilities of Nero’s "Devil Breakers" prosthetic arm which will spice up the fun for combat. There are apparently eight of these weapons and a recent addition of them is a Mega Man-inspired Mega Buster.
This brand-new weapon inspired by Capcom's fan-favorite blue bomber and comes with the Deluxe Edition of DMC5. This version will also include 4 exclusive Devil Breakers, 12 classic battle themes, Dante's upgraded motorcycle weapon for and more.

At one point of the clip, Dante's old business associates Lady and Trish showed up to haul him back into the fight. Also, the game hinted of introducing three vigilante devil hunters and we get to meet "V", the newest playable character after the main leads.
Nero's engineer friend Nico then gets to meet Dante and introduces herself as the granddaughter of Nell Goldstein as he looks at her for a moment. His special power of Devil Trigger transformation is displayed during the gameplay as well.

We have no details on the new character "V" yet despite his short presence time in the video but hopefully, Capcom will officially release more info on him before the game finally releases on March 8 of 2019.
Apparently, Devil May Cry 5 is building a bridge between generations of characters by bringing them all together to fight for same cause and that's just great. Nero was doing pretty well on his own but then probably something went out of control and he had to call his uncle to lend a hand.
