The trailer opens up with Peter talking to Miles Morales as Spider-Man about leaving the fight for the pros from next time, meaning whether Miles gets into some action story-wise or probably there are some scopes to play as him. We see Spidey kicking butt of Kingpin and leading to his arrest. He tangles with Minster Negative, Rhino, Scorpion and mercenary Silver Sable from past trailers. The video ends on the point where we previously saw Miles taking a photo of him back at E3 2017.

Aside from an improved combat system, swinging mechanics for the web-slinger is also top-notch and they make the playing experience a lot more enjoyable from any other game till date featuring our titular hero. While saving the world fighting off bad-guys, Peter takes time out talking to his Aunt May to maintain his dual life as she checks in on him. At the end of the day, we still are unclear about the identity of the mysterious entity from E3 2018 gameplay trailer he was so surprised to see.

The game is not based on any comic-book lineup or even the newly established MCU setup. However, the Spider-Man from the game continuity is going to participate in an upcoming crossover event "Spidergeddon" from Marvel Comics. Our best guess is, Insomniac is probably going for a new start of a shared Marvel Games Universe, where our favorite web-head is a slightly old Peter Parker than usual and the character we knew all along are also a bit different than they used to be.
