Devil May Cry 5 Gameplay & Release Date
New Devil May Cry 5 gameplay trailer brings young Devil Hunter back in action and reveals the release date.
We already have the announcement trailer for upcoming action-adventure hack and slash game Devil May Cry 5 from developer/publisher Capcom's celebrated Devil May Cry franchise back in E3 2018. Since Gamescom 2018 is here, they decided to release another trailer that features a few gameplay moments and announce the release date for the game, which is March 8, 2019. The clip mostly focuses on Nero’s "Devil Breakers" prosthetic arm and what it is capable of doing in a fight.
Witness the return of Dante and Nero for their next adventure in an all-new gameplay trailer from DMC5.
The video opens up with Nero dialing a number from a phone booth while saying to Nico that she is up and his associate drives their transportation trailer near him. As they were driving to go for demon hunting, he tells her not to try to kill them and jumps into a mess once reached. Aside from his trusty Red Queen sword and powerful Blue Rose handgun, we see his cybernetic prosthetics in full-action with coolest special powers to decimate demon horde like sweeping the floor.
According to Capcom, Nero has a total of eight Devil Breakers and they are up for releasing electric charge to powerful shockwaves or even grapple enemies from far. We also witness a brief confrontation of him against a giant scissor wielding boss at one point of the trailer. Nearing the end of the clip, popular series protagonist Dante makes his spectacular entrance in a motorbike that he uses as a new weapon at his disposal by splitting it into half and slice through his enemies.
Devil May Cry 5 looks very promising from the very first trailer and fans are now eagerly waiting for the game to come out next year on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The series began its journey in 2001 as an original title for PlayStation 2 and then in 2008, a reboot came as DmC: Devil May Cry. The newest installment is a successor to that game and Nero takes the lead from Dante as series main to save humanity.
