Overwatch's New Hero Wrecking Ball
If cyborg ninjas and super-spies weren't enough, Overwatch is bringing a chubby cheeked hamster in his murder-bot; Wrecking Ball!
The official Twitter account for Blizzard Entertainment's massively popular team-based multiplayer online first-person shooter Overwatch has been teasing their newest hero for some time. Majority of fan base already guessed in advance who this new hero would turn out to be from all the clues left behind on walls and posters. Afterwards the developer's team revealed 28th addition to the roster and their newest tank hero Wrecking Ball, which will be piloted by a really cute hamster named Hammond!

The chubby little force of destruction marks his debut on Overwatch through a teaser clip today and he is here to bring us joy!

This cute little fellow came from the Horizon Lunar Colony, where scientists were experimenting on gorillas to increase their intellect and then they all ended up turning on to them. Winston was one of them who were a graduate of their Lucheng Interstellar program and he escaped from there during the chaos. Hammond was another specimen who left the facility in time of gorilla coup and now is marked as "missing". He ended up crash landing on Junkertown and Winston joined Overwatch.

There is no telling how intelligent Hammond is and his mechanic skills are simply remarkable. He customized his makeshift escape pod and upgraded it into a mech of destruction to take part in the battle arena of Scrapyard. He quickly earned a reputation for his winning streak and took the alias "Wrecking Ball" but no one ever knew who was inside. Every other obstacle that is thrown towards him, he successfully overcomes them each time and earned a status of a brawler while exploring the world.

Many people had thought of introducing a character like him as a joke until they saw this little guy coming out with his robotic killing machine. He can roll around the map all over and shoot grappling hook for swinging across places makes him the most unique inclusion to Overwatch roster till date. Previously we had assassins for hire, cyborg ninjas and super-spy in the mix but now we got a fuzzy-faced tank-class hero to stand out among them. With him, Blizzard is moving towards a better direction of diversifying the game even more.
