New Diablo Game in Development
Blizzard has been working on an unannounced Diablo project and a job listing on their website confirms it.
The last game developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment released from action role-playing franchise was Diablo III, which came out in 2012 and its second expansion Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer came out last year on Mac, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This hack and slash dungeon crawler haven't seen a sequel for past six years but maybe that changes now. According to a new revelation, Blizzard is apparently working on a brand-new installment of Diablo.

From a recent list of job listing posted their website shows that the studio is looking for some dungeon artists for a new, yet unannounced Diablo project. They were also looking for a few artists to work on environmental, technical and VFX assets as well as some software engineers. All of the applicants will be hired to work full-time to create a dark fantasy world full of dungeons for their newest title where players will embark on a quest to save the world once again.

The gameplay and world of Diablo series has inspired many RPG over the years and it is high time that the developer finally revives it. Although Diablo III was widely successful, players were quite unhappy with Blizzard mostly focusing on multiplayer mode, aspects of single-player game struggled to thrive. Given today's scenario of so many game companies moving ahead with online games, we are only wondering if they would follow the same path or would they acknowledge fans criticism from past?!

Aside from this fan-favorite game, Blizzard is also responsible for creating hugely popular series like StarCraft and World of Warcraft. Although, they are quite busy with their team-based multiplayer first-person shooter Overwatch, which is ruling major platforms and received positive acclaim from almost everyone. To keep the momentum flowing and keep the entire fan-base happy, they are regularly dropping post-release contents and arranging seasoned events.

While they were away, many other popular RPG franchise has emerged and Blizzard has been long absent from the competition. So, fans are really concerned if they will be able to live up to expectations of modern day fans and reclaim their throne! By the looks of it, things don't seem like that they are completely moving away from the core but sticking to it instead. Hopefully they will make killing demons of Hell and looting rewards.
