Fortnite Season 4 Announced
For months, Fortnite players were chasing tails after a "comet theory" that eventually came to be true. Season 3 is ending very soon as developers Epic Games and People Can Fly are bringing Season 4 of the game along with updates for Save the World and Fortnite Battle Royale. Just like players have been predicting of a new season for some time now, a comet crash from outer space in the middle of game’s map will bring massive change in overall.

While all the crazy theories were flying around about what the mysterious comet is going to do or where it is about to crash, Epic Games remained silent and now, they are officially announcing Fortnite Season 4 with a new trailer.

Upon witnessing the trailer above, we know now that where things are going to pick up from in Season 4. The theorized comet will crash on and destroy Dusty Depot, which will be then called Dusty Divot in the aftermath of impact. Previously, everyone has predicted that the collision would target the Tilted Towers but ultimately, that was not the case. Considering it was a pretty big meteor, there are craters everywhere of the island where players are.

A new location in the Northeastern part of map called Risky Reels is introduced, where Battle Royale participants used to have their drive-in movie theater before the comet crashed. On the plus side, you got a brand-new site to explore now and the downside is that it cannot be used as a landing spot anymore. As the third season coming to an end, people have to stop jumping around in their John Wick skins, which is becoming very common these days. Pretty sure that Season 4 Battle Pass will contain some new cosmetics items to try out. Developers already hinted that they will introduce superhero-themed skins in the pass alongside other skins. There will be 100 tiers of rewards, all of which can be unlocked by playing the game. So, you should start now to better your chances.

We would like to mention that right after Season 4 goes live; everyone logging in will receive a free version of Battle Pass that has 10 levels worth of stuff to loot. However, don't worry about upgrading your pass later as progress made prior to that will be carried over.
