The Walking Dead: Michonne - Episode 1 Launch Trailer
Telltale starts a new miniseries with The Walking Dead: Michonne and here goes the launch trailer for first episode.
Comic-book creator Robert Kirkman's insanely popular Image Comics' post-apocalyptic graphic novel series The Walking Dead was adapted for AMC TV. It then found an even larger audience around the globe through a couple of successful video games spin-off releases from developer Telltale Games to expand the fictional universe even more. Newest addition to the series, The Walking Dead: Michonne video game mini-series is also following the same path and the launch trailer for Episode 1 is just released.

Following "All Out War" story arc, Michonne hops on a boat for a journey, leaving Rick Grimes behind. She's been into trouble and even got captured where her captors tries to taunt her as she is constantly hallucinating about her two daughters, Colette and Elodie, whom she lost during the outbreak. What she and her crew found on their way is mass murder on a distant land from home but that's nothing that she cannot take care of with her trusty sword and fierce attitude.

According to Kirkman (Battle Pope, Haunt), who clarified on Letter Hacks section of The Walking Dead monthly ongoing series issue #155 that, the game would chronologically take place between the gap of issues #126 and #139. Since, it is not explored in the comics yet; Telltale took the liberty of telling a unique story featuring our favorite fierce katana wielding survivor through Michonne mini-series and her character is voiced by actress Samira Wiley from hit Netflix series Orange Is The New Black.

Away from her found family of Rick, Carl and rest of her friends, Michonne ends up on an adventure that she never asked for and it only brought past tragedies. The second and third episode of this episodic interactive drama series titled "Give No Shelter" and "What We Deserve" will eventually release in March and April respectively on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, all episodes are available for purchasing individually or complete set for $14.99.
